Hylton and Margaux have been exceptional in planning and guiding us through a memorable stay in the Kruger National Park. It starts with a very smooth planning where they ensure to design the exact trip you are dreaming of, with very quick response and comprehensive information and details. From the moment they picked us at the airport until the final minute of our stay, they have been taking fantastic care of us, sharing their passion and knowledge for the Kruger Park. It has been particularly great to hear them share their experience during our games. We went home full of memories and of course, with a strong desire to come back again for new adventures with them. I have had the opportunity to go on safari several times, with a variety of guides, over the past 10 years. Margaux and Hylton is by far the very best. 

My first experience with them was in 2021 when I contracted Covid-19 while on safari. I was ejected from the group and Margaux and Hylton came to my rescue. They helped me find lodging and offered to take me on a private safari. This was a blessing in disguise.

Margaux and Hylton are extremely knowledgeable. I honestly felt I was safaring with expert guides hailing from National Geographic, South African historical society, a professor of cultural studies, and Animals R-US, all rolled up into these two people.

They personalized the safari adventure and the results were amazing! I experienced the big 5 plus, nightlife (including an African wild cat), star gazing, history and topography lessons as well as gained friends for life.

Since my safari with Margaux and Hylton, my sister, brother-in-law and their friends have gone on safari with them. They still talk about this being the trip of a lifetime (both are experienced world travelers).

I just booked another safari with Hylton Langley for later this year. I am super excited to share them with my best friends and family.

Hylton and Margaux planned an INCREDIBLE honeymoon safari for us. We gave them a budget that we worried may be a little low for everything we wanted to do- a boat ride on the river, a horseback safari, and multiple days of game drives. We were blown away with the proposal they came back with! The locations and lodges they selected were incredible and we were taken care of so well. They really know the area and our expectations were beyond exceeded.

Not only was the trip they put together fantastic but so are they. They are the most amazing, powerhouse couple and are so knowledgeable about all the animals. It really enriched our experience to have them there educating us on the animals we saw. Not only did they teach us about the animals but also about the landscape, the soils, the plant life, and current conservation projects. We love them and couldn't imagine a better trip! 11/10 would recommend.

Margaux and Hylton from Hylton Langley Safaris and Adventures produced the most incredible vacation of our lives. Our family (two adults, two elementary school children) reached out to them on the advice of friend who told us about her awesome experience with Margaux. We are so glad we connected with them. From our first communication in planning, Hylton and Margaux worked to understand our family and our interests. They patiently answered our questions and ultimately generated a completely customized itinerary that started with four days of private safari guided by Margaux and Hylton, incredible accommodation at a villa in Elephant Point just outside the Kruger, and meals designed to show the best of South Africa while still pleasing younger eaters. They handled every detail seamlessly such that we were able to relax completely. Each day, Margaux and Hylton shared their unending knowledge of the Kruger and its plants and animals. They considered our interests and adjusted each day’s game drive to best suit our family. As a result, we had terrific sightings of more animals than we could have imagined. They were terrific with our children. They answered our kids’ questions, took them on a nature walk near our villa, and showed them how to become children of the bush. In a few short days with Margaux and Hylton our kids learned so much about the Kruger ecosystem and had more fun than ever learning.

After the time at Elephant Point, Hylton and Margaux took us on a game drive to Motswari, a camp in a private game reserve. They ensured every detail was attended to, stayed our first night at Motswari, and went on two game drives with us there. Thanks to Hylton, Margaux, and the outstanding staff at Motswari, we were able to go on a bush walk while our kids relaxed at the lodge.

Put simply, our trip was unforgettable and that is all thanks to Margaux and Hylton. They were unerringly reliable and constantly helpful. They set the bar high for personal, bespoke family safaris and work tirelessly to exceed it. After getting home, we recommend them to anyone interested in visiting southern Africa. My wife and I had one week of free time during our trip to South Africa, and at the recommendation of a friend, I contacted Hylton by email to get his advice. He asked a few questions to get a feel for our interests, and then he sent me his suggested itinerary. It looked great and included almost everything (lodging, most transportation, most meals, and a private driver/tour guide). I decided to trust him and signed up for everything.

I can honestly say that the entire trip exceeded our expectations on every front. All of the transportation, lodging, meals, the places we visited (including 3.5 days in Kruger National Park), and the things we did were fantastic.
