Meet the team
Hylton
As the founder of Hylton Langley Safaris, and with more than 21 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, Hylton is the all-rounder with a great interest in the history of Southern Africa, the cultures of the different peoples and an unquenchable love for the African bush. Being fluent in both English and Swedish, he has personally planned, hosted, and guided hundreds of guests on numerous adventurous safaris throughout Africa’s wilderness areas.
Margaux
Margaux’s career has taken on many trajectories - all inspired by her love and passion for people, wildlife, and conservation - from conducting the annual Kruger National Park lion census to training prospective guides at guide schools, to guiding guests at prestigious safari lodges such as Tswalu in the Kalahari and Singita in the Kruger National Park and Sabi Sand Reserves.
Through more than a decade of industry experience, Margaux’s hard work and diligence were duly noted when she was nominated as a participant in the Annual Field Guides Association of Southern Africa’s Safari Guide of the Year competition 2019. As the only female competing, she was a runner-up in the competition, and she won three categories.
Margaux will not only be able to offer great advice with regard to the planning process but also through her hands-on approach, she is very capable of ensuring that your safari dreams will not only be realized but that they will be exceeded on every level.
